But I assure you my friends, this book is about as far away as you can get from those genres and I loved every second of it. This book is intense, shocking, gripping and it will bother you are your very core. I normally read the sweeter, softer romance novels with the occasional YA book thrown in for good measure. When I read the first chapter of this book I was utterly dumbfounded.
